Do the Oceania ships organize shore side shuttles to get from wharf to towns

No, regrettably, they do not usually on the Med cruises. They do have a representative from the local tourist board come on board ship with maps and are available with information re local bus routes and to answer specific questions. So in August when we were in Palma for example, we got a bus outside the dock terminal and luckily there was a local who spoke English and advised us where to get off the bus for shopping. At most places we stopped there were taxis. One notable exception was Sorrento. After we got off the tenders we were directed to little shuttle buses which took us up the steep hill straight into the main shopping street. These were available till 5pm. When we went back into Sorrento at night we had to get a local bus and buy bus tickets.

No one seems to know so I suggest that you e-mail Oceania and ask them.
If I were pressed for an answer it would be YES there a terrific line and I can't see them slip up on something like that. .... Neil
