Record Demand for Oceania’s 2009 Cruises

Oceania Cruises have this week announced record bookings for the line’s 2009 European Collection. More than five hundred new reservations were made within the first few hours of the telephone lines opening at 8am on Monday. The European Collection features 56 cruises to Russia and Scandinavia, the British Isles and Norway, the Mediterranean and the Greek Islands.

“With limited availability for our 2008 sailings, travel agents and Oceania Club members have been eager to learn details of our 2009 European itineraries. Our travel partners have always provided us with tremendous support and the response to our newly released itineraries has been nothing short of spectacular,” said Bob Binder, President of Oceania Cruises.  Highlights of Oceania’s European Collection includes:

  • A 16-day Venice-Rome cruise on Insignia, sailing on 15th May.
  • A 12-day British Isles and Norwegian Fjords cruise, sailing from Dover on 13th July
  • A 14-day Egypt and Israel cruise, with calls at Malta, Tunisia, Istanbul, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey – sailing from Barcelona
