We have cruised for many years with many companies. This was our first with Oceania. Were not too happy with their admin pre-cruise and they had great difficulty both pre and on board with the concept of our disembarking at Singapore - ie a port short of the full cruise. Chaotic would not be too strong a word to use.
The ship is very comfortable and elegant. Food excellent in general and service was good - though if you asked for a large table - say 8 - and were not terribly lucky, you could sit on your own sans food or drink for up half an hour until they could fill the table before your order was taken. We had a 'Concierge' cabin on Deck 7. Small by modern standards of premuim cabins but very nicely furnished - though balcony very small and furniture on it basic. Bathroom smallest ever seen - no bath just a tiny shower. You were sure never to fall down!
No 'general store' on board so if you wanted something like a pack of sweets or something for your camera etc you were out of luck.
Excellent lecturers - among the best ever seen. Very topical subjects. Good ports of call though two days in Saigon was a waste, especially when those not getting off like us at Singapore, were given just 10 hours there - a travesty of planning.
Overall a good experience and as someone else has said, the pricing in dollars - we booked through the U.S. - was VERY advantageous! When they get their two new ships - where, I'm told the cabins will be 50% larger, we'll be back again.

You can also buy in US Dollars here in he UK - and I actually found the prices to be lower than in the US. I would just say, book in dollars but always chek the Dollar rate that is available here for a direct comparison. One more thing to watch out for - if you book through a US travel agent you are not covered if anything goes wrong.
